WORSHIP

At First Christian Church, we offer congregants of all ages a chance to give back by joining our wide range of ministries. Our worship service allows current members and guests to be involved with our ongoing mission of spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ to our community and world. Giving back is ingrained into our philosophy and it’s at the root of our very being.

ABOUT FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH

*Due to Covid, we have altered some aspects of Sunday morning (communion is practiced differently, social distancing is encouraged, masks are optional, etc.)

Do you live stream your services?

Yes. Click on the YouTube icon on the top right of your screen and it will take you to some of our most recent services.

What should I wear on Sunday morning?

Clothes.  We have no formal dress requirement. On any given Sunday you will see individuals “dressed up,” as well as others wearing jeans, shorts, and t-shirts.

Where do I park and where should I go when I arrive?
Parking is available around the Church, primarily to the east in the public lot behind Jaarsma Bakery. There is limited parking on the west of the building. There is also street parking available near the church building.

When you arrive, the main entrance is on the east side of the building (N.1st St. across from Jaarsma). Upon entering the building you can either use the stairs or take the elevator to the main floor. On Sunday mornings there are greeters who will welcome you and answer questions you might have when you first arrive.

What might I experience when I visit on Sunday morning?
We hope that you will experience God's love, hope, grace, and mercy while at First Christian Church.  We invite everyone to participate as they feel comfortable in morning worship. There is a bulletin to help you follow along during the service.  Almost all services at First Christian Church have singing, scripture reading, a children’s message, prayers, offering, a sermon, and communion.
