CHILDREN & YOUTH
Find Your Place with Us
Throughout the school year, our children and youth gather at the church to learn more about God and each other. The children begin in a large group in the Children's Wing (3rd floor), and then we head off to their respective ministries and activities (dinner is served to each group as one of their rotations).
We would love for you to join us!
POWER KIDS
5th grade & under
This group meets Wednesday nights 5:30-7:00pm September through March at the church.
Take this time to enjoy praise music, a fun bible lesson, games, crafts, and a delicious dinner. We also have special family nights including bowling, Autumn Acres and more. Pick up a calendar in the church office for more details.
POWER ZONE
6th-8th grade
This group meets Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00pm September through March at the church.
Middle schoolers can find friends, fun, faith and food every night. This group also goes on several special outings throughout the year.
POWER HOUSE
9th-12th grade
This group meets Wednesday nights 6:30-8pm September through March at the church.
Enjoy dinner, conversation and games with other teens. Powerhouse also goes on several fun outings throughout the year.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Every summer, First Christian Church offers a fun, energetic, and faith-filled week of VBS. For more information or to register, please contact the church office.
MISSION TRIPS
Every two years, the high school youth have the opportunity to participate in a mission trip out of state. The generosity of our church family enables us to offer this experience at a very low cost to our youth group members.
Registration and a non-refundable payment of $200 is generally due six months prior to the mission trip. No youth group member should be excluded due to financial constraints.
